Dollar Bay, Docklands

From £5m

Four penthouses that form the crowning glory of this 31-storey tower in the Docklands are on sale this week. Two four floor, three bedroom penthouses and a couple of two bedroom duplexes are on sale next to each other at the apex of this joint venture between Mount Anvil and Citystyle. The name is inspired by the Blitz spirit of local dockers who helped tow US ships back to their moorings in WWII. To show their gratitude, the naval officers threw dollar bills down from the deck to the dockers below.

360 Barking, Barking

From £350,000

Eleven apartments remain in the first phase of new homes to go on sale on Cambridge Road, east London. The Zone 4 location is hotting up after the recent plans were announced for Barking Riverside. The one and two bedroom flats by NU Living at 360 Barking proved popular at last weekend’s sales launch, where 55 were snapped up off-plan. The homes are due to be finished in January 2019 and all residents will be able to enjoy a communal garden roof terrace and a five minute walk to Barking Underground and Rail station.

With a large library at its centre and new shops, the Harrow Square scheme will front the existing high street, College Road, when it’s completed in 2019.
