Commuting: While Crouch End is notionally in zone three, there is no tube station and buses are the only means of transport into the centre. To get to the City you can jump aboard the W7 that runs from Crouch End Broadway to Finsbury Park tube station. From there, you can use the Piccadilly line to King’s Cross, where you can change for the Northern Line to Bank. This takes 40 minutes.

Education: Almost all the primary schools get excellent results in the local area. They are: Rokesley in Rokesley Avenue; Coleridge in Crouch End Hill; St Gildas’ RC in Oakington Way; and Weston Park in Denton Road. The two state secondary schools get relatively average results. Nearby Highgate, however, has two high-performing independent schools: Channing and Highgate.
