Murray eases through in Toronto

TENNIS: Britain’s No1 Andy Murray cruised into the third round of the Rogers Cup in?Toronto last night after a comfortable 7-5, 6-2 victory over Xavier Malisse.

The world No4, playing his first tournament since his split from coach Miles Maclagan, now faces another Frenchman, Gael Monfils, in the next round.
