Let's play a game – it’s called Miliband or Tory.

We’ll give you a quotation and you have to guess who said it: former Labour leader Ed Miliband or a member of the current Conservative government. Here goes….

[quiz id="33"]

Westminster commentators have noticed the stark similarity in rhetoric between Miliband and the new Tory regime, which may well be little more than an electoral ploy to steal centrist voters abandoned by Jeremy Corbyn.

Some market-liberals are worried, however, that the new government will be far more interventionist and managerial than its predecessor. Such an approach, especially post-referendum, would be a grave mistake. Let’s hope that May’s actions turn out to be stronger than her current choice of words.
