MEN’S GROOMING AUTUMN TREATMENTS

Chaps fancying a bit of therapeutic indulgence to ease themselves back into working mode after the summer are well catered-for at the moment. At Gentlemen’s Tonic in Mayfair, the City and Selfridges (www.gentlemenstonic.com) you can enjoy a special Winter Warmer treatment, involving a hot stone body massage to rebalance achey muscles, while your hands and feet are immersed in a therapeutic heated emulsion to soften them up (£135).

The Lanesborough Hotel’s Spa Studio (www.thelanesborough.com) at Hyde Park Corner is also taking the hot stone massage route with its The Lanesborough Gentleman treatment, which comes with a Leighton Denny male manicure or pedicure (£95).

Over at The Refinery in Mayfair and Harrods (www.the-refinery.com), the new Well-Being Experience includes a foot cleanse, pressure point massage, body rocking, neck and shoulder massage and a facial (£60). The Refinery is also introducing Hawaiian Lumi Lumi massages (think special sweeping strokes and body cocooning), as well as a new 45 minute foot treatment called Sole Therapy (£40).

And if you need to spruce up your appearance with a posh haircut, the Sanrizz salon at the Grosvenor House hotel (www.sanrizz.co.uk) is offering exclusive men only sessions with in-depth consultation, hair maintenance tips, a shiatsu head massage, a free styling product and, of course, cut and finish with a senior stylist, all for £40 (a saving of £12).
