Men: soothe and protect your skin too

ONCE the summer sun disappears, it’s easy for men to forget to take care of their skin. However, the winter can be just as problematic to a gent’s appearance as the sunnier months – the cold will dry out your skin and cause chapped lips, and overheating at home can make things even worse. And that’s before you even get to the wear and tear of the party season.

If you don’t want to end up by Christmas with skin like an old boot, you need to take steps, says Deborah Gayle of Mayfair grooming centre The Refinery. “Protection is the key,” she says. “You need rich moisturiser which will enrich the skin through essential oils, and balms that will protect as well as sooth.”

CLINIQUE MAXIUM HYDRATOR
