Media and entertainment giant Time Warner has lined up five major office schemes for its new London headquarters, including Battersea Power Station.

The company, which currently operates out of several London offices including Turner House in Soho, has hired agents at CBRE to find new offices spanning at least 200,000 square feet.

Battersea Power Station is one of the five buildings that it is in talks to lease in what would be an iconic move for Time Warner and also a major coup for the owners of the famous red brick building, City PM understands.

In total, Battersea will have around 466,000 sq ft of office space on the upper floors of the boiler room, with work scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2019.

Time Warner is also understood to be considering Stanhope and Mitsui's White City Place, which forms part of their redevelopment of the former BBC Television Centre.

Private equity group Blackstone’s Chiswick Park, The Royal Bank of Scotland’s former offices at Aldgate Union – now owned by Derwent London – and Ballymore and Ecoworld’s second phase of offices at Embassy Gardens, are also on the list of offices Time Warner is considering, according to property newswire CoStar.

CBRE declined to comment.
