Still struggling through those post Christmas months? Here's one way you can save some cash, and it involves nothing more than your normal daily commute.

Anyone using Apple Pay with their Mastercard will be able to travel for free across the entire travel network, including Tube, train, bus, DLR and tram, on Monday (29 February).

Simply swipe in and swipe out using your iPhone or Apple Watch that's set up for cashless payments with Mastercard. The cost of the fare will be automatically refunded up to £28.10.

Londoners may be on board with cashless payment more than anyone else in the country, but its the third time that Mastercard is offering the promo over the last year to get even more of us, ahem, up to speed.

The offer will also be available on the following two Mondays, 7 March and 14 March, making the month just that little bit easier to bear.
