Cantankerous Manchester Untied boss Jose Mourinho is set to face further disciplinary action after being sent to the stands for the second time in a month during his side’s 1-1 draw with West Ham on Sunday.

Mourinho was dismissed by referee Jon Moss after he kicked a water bottle in frustration at £89m midfielder Paul Pogba being shown a yellow card for diving. Replays indicated that West Ham’s Mark Noble made no contact with the Frenchman.

The Portuguese received a touchline ban after he was sent off during his side’s goalless draw with Burnley on 29 October, while he was also slapped with a fine for comments made about referee Anthony Taylor in the build up to United’s clash with Liverpool.

Moss and Mourinho have previous. The Sunderland-born official also dismissed the former Inter manager when he was in charge of Chelsea in October 2015. Mourinho faces the prospect of a two-match touchline suspension.
