Magazine publisher TI Media taps media veteran Tim Weller as new chairman
The magazine publisher behind Horse & Hound and Country Life has appointed media veteran Tim Weller as its new chairman.

The media boss has been recruited by Epiris, the private equity firm that bought the publishing group from Time Inc last year, and has already started work at the company.
The move, first reported by Sky News, will put Weller in charge of a vast portfolio of well-known titles, including NME, Marie Claire UK and TV Times.
Weller founded B2B information provider Incisive Media in 1994 using start-up capital of just £275,000, growing it to a valuation of more than $1bn (£780m) by 2007.
He also holds senior positions in other media organisations, including chairman of online review platform Trustpilot.
Epiris rebranded TI Media last year and the appointment shows the buyout firm's desire to pursue further inorganic growth opportunities for the company, with Weller expected to pursue high-profile acquisitions in the coming months.

Weller will replace former Financial Times journalist and New Scientist owner Sir Bernard Gray, who left TI earlier this year.
TI Media and Epiris declined to comment.
