Madoff finance chief is charged

Fraudster Bernard Madoff’s right-hand man Frank DiPascali has been charged with 10 crimes relating to the $65bn (£39bn) Ponzi scheme. He is due to plead guilty in court today and faces up to 125 years in prison if convicted on all counts.
