London Fire Brigade warns of “long delays” on A12 by Poplar after lorry collides with car

London Fire Brigade has warned of "long delays" on the A12 by Poplar after a collision this afternoon.  

The brigade was called to the scene to rescue a motorist after a lorry struck a car on the East India Dock Road.

This is the second incident the LFB has been called to in Poplar today. 

The brigade was called to a blaze that had broken out in a converted warehouse this morning, which 35 firefighters and six engines attended. 

The fire had broken out at a maisonette on Morris Road in Poplar.
