GOLF: Former Open champion Paul Lawrie returned from a six-week playing break to fire a five-under-par 65 to lead the Open de Andalucia in Malaga.

The Scot is tied with Denmark’s Soren Kjeldsen, one shot clear of a cluster of players on four under par.
