Former Open champion Paul Lawrie shot a final-day 65 to win the Qatar Masters. The tournament had been reduced to 54 holes after strong winds allowed only three hours of play on Friday. Lawrie, who carded 69 and 67 in the first two rounds, finished on 15 under, four shots clear of Australia’s Jason Day and Sweden’s Peter Hanson.
