Kubica out of intensive care

FORMULA ONE: Renault driver Robert Kubica is out of intensive care as he continues his recovery from a rallying accident which threatens to cut short his career. The 26-year-old Pole suffered multiple fractures and will undergo two operations on his foot and upper arm at an Italian hospital on Friday. A further operation on Kubica’s elbow has been scheduled for Monday.
