Khan made to wait by Peterson
BOXING: A deal between Amir Khan and Lamont Peterson over a rematch is still to be agreed with the US boxer choosing to wait until an appeal over a demand for a new fight is concluded. A spokesman for Peterson said: “Right now our efforts are focused on the appeal to the World Boxing Association. Khan has been seeking a fight since losing his light-welterweight belts in controversial circumstances last month.
