Khan to fight McCloskey
England’s Amir Khan will defend his WBA light-welterweight title against Northern Ireland’s European champion Paul McCloskey in the spring after an agreement was finally reached between the two camps. Negotiations had broken down some weeks ago but the fight is now scheduled to take place at Manchester’s MEN Arena on 16 April. Bolton fighter Khan said: “I am delighted that this fight has finally been put together.”
