Kauto Star suffers infection

HORSE RACING: Kauto Star, the beaten King George VI Chase favourite, has a “low-grade infection” trainer Paul Nicholls has revealed. Tests after Saturday’s shock defeat had revealed “signs of inflammation” Nicholls said on Twitter, adding that “antibiotics and a few easy days” was the prescribed treatment.
