LONDON Premier League rivals Salomon Kalou of Chelsea and Arsenal’s Samir Nasri hope their sides will meet at Wembley in this season’s Champions League final.

The famous venue will host the climax of Europe’s premier club competition for the first time since 1992 and, with all three capital clubs including Tottenham, who have progressed to the last 16 in their debut season, holding first leg advantages the prospect of a London presence come May looks to be a strong one.

Nasri, whose Arsenal side travel to Camp Nou on Tuesday looking to protect a one-goal lead against Barcelona, said: “I would love an Arsenal-Chelsea final because it’s two clubs from London.

“I have a dream about the Champions League – it’s the best competition for a club, we’re still in it and we want to come back to Wembley.”

Kalou added: “I prefer [to play Arsenal in the final] because we have a good record against them. Every time we’ve been to Wembley we’ve had a good game – hopefully we’ll get to this final. It’s a great stadium with a great atmosphere.”
