James Bond Spectre auction: Aston Martin DB10 under the hammer at Christie’s with £1m price tag

If you've ever wished you could own James Bond's car, now's your chance.

The Aston Martin DB10, Bond's car of choice in Spectre – which was specially created for the movie – will go under the hammer on Thursday, giving you the only opportunity to own one.

Just 10 of the cars were created and only three survived the film shoot – this is the only one to make its way onto the market.

Anyone wanting to live the spy life will have to fork out, though. It comes with a guide price of between £1m and £1.5m. Alas – you won't even be able to show it off, as it's just a "show car" and not road legal.

From Christie's with love

If that's too much of a stretch, or if the Aston's not enough, there are other opportunities to pick up a piece of Bond. Going up for auction at Christie's are several more items from the film.

There's Bond's Tom Ford suit, starting at £20,000 – or his Day of the Dead costume, from £12,000.

And if you fancy wearing Bond's watch, now's your time. The Omega Seamaster 300 prototype warn by Daniel Craig as Bond is up for grabs, from £15,000. It's one of only eight made – but unfortunately doesn't come with the actual gadget features from the film.

There's also the Longines "Conquest Heritage" watch worn by Ralph Fiennes (aka M), starting at £5,000.

Fans can also get their hands on film memorabilia, such as scripts signed by director Sam Mendes and Barbara Broccoli, sheet music and vinyl signed by "Writing's on the Wall" Bond theme singer Sam Smith, and a set of signed photos by snapper Rankin.
