Apple fans eager to get their hands on the shiny new iPhones revealed on Tuesday won’t have long to wait.

Both devices are available for pre-order from today in the UK ahead of their release on 19 September.

The devices can be ordered directly from Apple online as well as from the major mobile networks EE, O2, Three and Vodafone, so no need to queue outside the Apple Store like some have already started doing.

Here are the standalone prices for both iPhones straight from Apple without being tied to a network or contract:

iPhone 6

16GB £539

64GB £619

128GB £699

iPhone 6 Plus

16GB £619

64GB £699

128GB £789

Mobile networks in the UK have yet to unveil their pricing and tariffs for the new iPhone, however details are expected later today.

The UK is one of a handful of countries where Apple is launching its new iPhones first. Other countries, including Ireland, Russia, Italy and New Zealand will have to wait until 26 September.

This is what could be in your hand in a week’s time if you're lucky enough to be in the UK.
