Conservative silent auction: Who will be shoe shopping with Theresa May?

The annual Conservative Party black and white fundraising ball was on Monday night at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair. The highlight of the evening was an auction, with various exclusive lots up for grabs.

Lots this year included budgets signed by George Osborne, and doing an Iron Man (not quiet man) Endeavour with Iain Duncan Smith. However, winners of the prized items seem to be keeping tight-lipped.

Home Secretary May will be High St Secretary for a day

Devastated at being out bid, The Capitalist has been desperately trying to find out who won a shopping trip with Home Secretary Theresa May. Nobody is being forthcoming.

Indeed, it is all so secret that Boris Johnson didn’t even realise tea with him had been put up as a lot. The London Mayor may now not be able to meet his obligation.
