The hot weather may have prompted us to stay in the UK this summer, but the temptation to flee to warmer climes will return once the dark nights and cooler temperatures close in. The city of Limassol, Cyprus, only a four and a half hour flight away, might be the hottest place to get your winter sun.

Located on the south coast, Limassol is the island’s second largest and most cosmopolitan city, with a 17km coastline of azure water and blue flag beaches, a wealth of history, culture and a hub for both business and leisure. It’s also home to Cyprus’ first super-yacht marina and commercial port, attracting an international market to invest in the already well-established property market there.

Cyprus’ residential market saw significant growth last year with sales up by 24 per cent and prices rising up by 33 per cent. Unsurprisingly, luxury developer, Cybarco, wanted to get in on the action by launching waterside development, Trilogy Seafront Limassol.

Overlooking the seafront and only minutes’ walk away from the city’s foremost shopping district, the stylish trio of towers, – named North, East and West – offer a collection of 307 apartments, the usual mix of offices and what’s described as ‘first-class private facilities’, which include indoor pools, tennis courts, children’s play areas and landscaped gardens.

Designed by WKK architects, the firm behind landmark skyscrapers around Cyprus and the Middle East, as well as a number of cruise liners, and interiors by local firm Side to Side. Striking features includes cavernous spas, outdoor pools in each tower, and breathtaking views from large terraces, the highlight of this development, making indoor-outdoor living possible 39 storeys up.

With prices starting from just under €1m, these homes have been designed to make the most of the uninterrupted sea views, and alfresco living space. Three dedicated lifts, security, controlled access and parking facilities are also on hand to provide peace of mind and security, as privacy is also a valuable luxury in today’s world.

“We have worked hard with our international partners to ensure that Trilogy Limassol Seafront offers customers the complete aspirational living experience. This development is providing residents with access to everything they need – all with the backdrop of stunning views overlooking the Mediterranean” explains, Michalis Hadjipanayiotou, CEO of the developer Cybarco.

With mountains, beaches, an exuberant nightlife and cultural riches, Cyprus has become a popular holiday home destination for foreign buyers and investors. Aside from the lifestyle, there are a number of significant social and financial benefits, including one of the world’s most advantageous tax systems and the lowest crimes rates in Europe. With those credentials, the luxury towers are set to soar to ever higher heights.
