Goldikova to retire ‘a great’
Three-time Breeders Cup Mile winner Goldikova will retire as one of the greats despite failing to win the race a record fourth time, says trainer Freddie Head. The six-year-old was beaten into third place at Churchill Downs by outsider Court Vision and Turallure. But Head said: “I think she has earned her place as one of the great horses of the last century.”
