In the 16th century this cottage was used to house young women accused of witchcraft, including the famous young Ursula Kemp, who was hanged in 1582.

The Ice House, Kincardineshire
£340,000

Young poet George Beattic is said to have fired practice shots at this fishing station, before turning the gun on himself after the heiress he had proposed to ran off with someone else.

The Three Pigeons Inn, North Wales

Locals have experienced paranormal encounters, including sights of a mysterious teenager misbehaving around the property, and an old man warming himself by the fire.
