GB women gymnasts thrive

OLYMPICS: Great Britain’s women achieved their best-ever result as they finished fifth at the World Gymnastics team final in Tokyo. “We’ve been training so hard and the qualification [where Britain scraped into the final in eighth place] was really tense for us,” said Beth Tweddle, who performed strongly on the bars in the team final.
