PATISSERIE POP-UP AT HARVEY NICKS
Get the cakes in – in spectacular style – at Harvey Nichols this autumn where American super-patissiere Claire Clark will be opening a pop-up for two months. Goodies lurking within her groovy Perspex cases will include bubblegum marshmallow pavlovas, Jaffa Cake macaroons and peanut butter S’Mores. The Claire Clark Patisserie will be open in the Fifth Floor Foodmarket at Harvey Nichols from 13 Sep to 18 Nov. Afternoon tea menu will be available between 13 and 26 Sep, starting at £35. GOURMET THAI GIVES GAME SEASON A SHOT
Make the most of game season with an unusual Thai twist. Mango Tree, London’s poshest Thai, is launching a menu including the likes of char-grilled venison with a spicy peanut sauce; char-siu barbecued rabbit on a bed of Thai parsley and cucumber, and guinea fowl and pomegranate curry with tamarind and sweet potato. £21.50 for two courses. 46 Grosvenor Place
SW1, tel: 020 7823 1888.

CLASS IN A BOX: NOBU’S PICNIC BENTO
Sometimes, only the best will do. If you want to picnic to impress, then Nobu has just the thing for you. A?portable Bento Box is split into layers. First up is seared salmon sashimi salad, shrimp salad with spicy lemon dressing and the famous black cod with miso. Next: cut rolls and sushi. Finally, milk chocolate and mango cake and petit fours finish. Those who want still more of the Nobu experience can go deluxe and get a bottle of Sake too. If it sounds like a lot of food, take it from me, you’ll be left wanting more. £45 for the regular or £75 for the deluxe; orders should be placed 24 hours in advance. Tel: 020 7447 4747.
