ST PATRICK’S DAY FEASTS
Celebrate Ireland’s Saint’s day with a feast inspired by food from the Emerald Isle (such menus don’t appear every day). At the Ebury in Pimlico there’s Cashel Blue with Boxty potato pancakes; and corned beef with bacon, cabbage, Guinness sauce and prunes. Across town at Maida Vale’s The Waterway you’ll find pork and foie gras terrine and Guinness-buttered pollock. Three-course banquet £25 on 17 Mar. www.theebury.co.uk, www.thewaterway.co.uk.

EASTER AT QUO VADIS
The Easter rabbit will be visiting swanky Quo Vadis this year to entertain the kiddies while you dine from the a la carte or set menus. Posh children’s entertainers Sharky & George will be laying on an Easter egg hunt for the lucky children, who will then be offered a picnic lunch. While you sip dessert wine, the kids will be painting their own chocolate eggs upstairs to take home. 26-29 Dean St, W1D 3LL, tel: 020 7437 9585. www.quovadissoho.co.uk.

SATURDAY LUNCH AT MON PLAISIR
London’s oldest French restaurant is taking pity on Saturday matinee-goers and launching a lunch service on that day. It’s heart-warming food for anyone: the likes of thick onion soup, Coquilles St Jacques, grilled entrecôte and coq au vin, as well as more sophisticated French fare. Three courses for £16.95. 21 Monmouth Street, WC2H 9DD, tel: 020 7836 7243. www.monplaisir.co.uk.

POLO LOUNGE AT THE DORCHESTER
The Beverly Hills Hotel’s famous dining spot will be coming to the Dorchester’s Promenade for a week, serving up glamorous Californian cuisine in a plush haven of flowers and music. Breakfast will include waffles, cherry pound cake and huevos rancheros, while lunch and dinner features McCarthy salad and Tortilla Soup. Don’t forget to try the special cocktails – as favoured by Marlene Dietrich. 26-30 Apr, call The Dorchester on 020 7629 8888 to book.
