Five of the best: Rooftop bars in London

Skylounge
This summer, the rooftop bar in Tower Hill has partnered up wtih tequila brand Jose Cuervo to serve cocktails, sangria, and Mexican food, while you enjoy the skyline to the soundtrack of a mariachi band.

Coq d’Argent
The restaurant and terrace bar near Bank station has also transformed itself for the summer into Yacht d’Argent. The theme is inspired by the super yachts that grace the French Riviera at this time of year.

Radiéo Rooftop Bar
Perched atop the ME Hotel along The Strand, this bar is stylishly decorated with comfortable sofas and it serves international tapas dishes to nibble on while you work your way through the cocktail list.

Boundary Rooftop
This Shoreditch bar is prepared for all weathers with its weatherproof pergola. It also boasts a new canopy of grape-growing vines and a wild herb garden. When the weather’s good, the space doubles in size.

Kensington Roof Gardens
The club on the sixth floor is the only rooftop private members’ club in London. Overlooking one and a half acres of themed gardens, it’s a glamorous prospect with a strict “no effort, no entry” dress code.
