Final could move back to midweek
EUROPEAN chiefs are thought to be considering switching the Champions League final back to Wednesday. Viewing figures for last year’s match, the first to be held on a Saturday, were not as high as hoped and a significant drop from the previous final. It is understood the matter has been discussed within the FA. A Uefa spokesperson told City PM there were currently no plans to revert.
