PAUL SMITH WINTER SALE
The winter sale begins on 27 December, offering 30 per cent off the original price. Savings on men’s tailoring and women’s bags and shoes will be standout, and customers on the Paul Smith mailing list receive a 50 per cent discount on the original ticket price until 4 January. For special openings hours and locations, go to paulsmith.co.uk.

THE RISE OF WINGE
The surprise hit among the shoppers of One New Change has got to be the Winge. Defined as a wig fringe popular with fashionistas, Hershesons Blowdry Bar has been doing a roaring trade among women looking for an extra something special for their Christmas party look. A pink fringe with that glass of fizz? We like it.

MULBERRY: THE ALL-STAR BRAND
This has been a particularly good week for the bag maker, whose cultish following seems to know no bounds. It announced a tripling of profits in the half year ended 30 September, and opened a new store at 50 New Bond Street, with display stands made of oak batons and an 8.7 metre-long polished brass cash desk.

ORLA KIELY’S HAND-PAINTED CITROEN
Irish fashion designer Orla Kiely has collaborated with Citroen to create a concept for the DS3. Famous for her graphic patterns and hypnotic prints, the car features a hand-painted acorn print, a frosted stem on the rear window and hand-stitched headrests. To register interest, go to info.citroen.co.uk/new-cars.
