WALT Disney yesterday said that profits in the three months to the end of June had fallen by more than a quarter as the global downturn took its toll on the entertainment giant’s theme parks and studios. Net profit was $954m (£579m), down 26 per cent from $1.28bn last year, on revenues that dipped seven per cent to $8.6bn
