EE says it has fixed its outage problem after customers were left without access to Orange webmail service for two days

EE has apologised to customers who were left with no access to Orange webmail services for almost two days and says it has resolved the problem.

"We have now resolved the issues preventing some Orange webmail users from accessing their accounts through an internet browser," an EE spokesperson said. "We apologise to anyone affected for the inconvenience that this has caused.”

EE was previously part owned by Orange, with Deutsche Telekom in control of the other half of the firm, however it was recently bought by BT in a £12.5bn deal.

Users tweeted their complaints at the telecom company:

@orange had no access to my email for over 24 hours now and I can see many others have the same problem! Any idea when it'll be working?

Contemplating deleting my @ee orange email. What's the point if I can't access it every other day of the month

Meanwhile, several others vented their frustration at a lack of communication from the group:

@OrangeModerator @EE @orange Ive been a customer for 15yrs+ & your response is "talk to the hand". Its "orange email"! #unacceptable

Have Orange / EE put out any information about why their Orange Email is down? Oh, the irony of them being a communication company!
