Daly walks out of Aussie Open
GOLF: America’s John Daly may have participated in his last ever tournament Down Under after he stormed off the course and failed to complete his first round at the Australian Open. Daly quit after hitting six balls into the water from the 11th tee at The Lakes Golf Club. “I would say this is the last time we see John Daly at this tournament,” said tournament director Trevor Herden. Tiger Woods shot his first bogey-free round in nine months but trailed Jarrod Lyle by three shots on four-under-par.
