The offices of the Daily Mail and the Metro were evacuated after a package containing a suspicious white power was found.

A police spokesperson said only a small part of the offices were evacuated as a precaution and nobody suffered any injuries.

Officers from the Met Police were sent to the newspapers' offices.

The Daily Mail's offices are located in Northcliffe House, in Kensington, which is also home to the Independent and the Evening Standard's offices.
