EXPERIAN has announced two new faces for its top management team, following the promotion of former chief financial officer Brian Cassin to chief executive in January.

Lloyd Pitchford, chief financial officer at safety service provider Intertek, will join the credit checking company in September this year as its finance boss.

Jan Babiak, a former managing partner at EY and member of the Royal Mail board, will join as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.

Don Robert, chief executive of Experian said the company looks forward to welcoming the new hires.

Speaking about Pitchford, Robert said: “Lloyd brings deep financial knowledge and considerable experience, built up through an impressive career working in complex, multinational organisations.”

Pitchford has been with Intertek as chief financial officer since 2010. He held a number of senior roles at BG Group before then, including group financial controller. He also enjoyed financial roles at Mobil Oil for seven years.

Babiak has experience as a non-executive director and already sits on the board at Walgreens and Bank of Montreal.

She was previously non-executive director at Logica, before joining the Royal Mail board ahead of its privatisation.
