Today's City Moves cover insurance, wealth management and online bingo. Take a look at these movers and shakers:

Legal & General

Legal & General has appointed Dharshini David as corporate affairs director. Dharshini will take up the appointment at the end of March and will report to group CEO, Nigel Wilson. She will be responsible for developing and implementing Legal & General’s external communications and corporate social responsibility strategies. Dharshini was previously business presenter at Sky News and co-presented the channel’s political programme, Sky News Tonight. Before joining Sky in 2009, Dharshini worked with Tesco’s board, overhauling and delivering the retailer’s broadcast media strategy on all areas, from financial results to consumer and social responsibility issues. She was previously a financial correspondent and presenter for the BBC in London and New York, where she led the corporation’s Wall Street coverage of the emergence of the financial crisis. Dharshini was recruited by the BBC while working on HSBC Investment Bank’s trading floor as its UK economist.

Northern Trust

Wealth management group Northern Trust has appointed Katharine Morris as head of sales of its global fund services business in the UK. Based in London, Katharine is responsible for offering investment operations outsourcing, fund administration and the full range of asset servicing solutions to investment managers domiciled in the UK. Katharine has experience working with some of the UK’s most sophisticated asset managers, and joins Northern Trust from HSBC Securities Servicing where she was head of UK sales. Prior to that, she spent over a decade at State Street holding various roles, including global relationship manager. She brings almost 20 years of financial services experience to Northern Trust and reports to Douglas Gee, head of sales for Northern Trust’s asset servicing business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Jackpotjoy

Jackpotjoy the largest online bingo-led operator in the world, has appointed former Liberum gaming analyst, Jason Holden, as director of investor and public relations. Jason will be focused on communicating Jackpotjoy’s proposition to the UK investment community following the company’s successful re-listing on the London Stock Exchange earlier this year. Working closely alongside chief executive Andy McIver and chief financial officer Keith Laslop, he will bring a wealth of experience and sector knowledge to the role, having been a highly-rated gaming and TMT analyst during a career that spans over 20 years. Jason will join the company later in April. He previously spent two years as a gaming and technology analyst at Liberum.
