Panmure Gordon
Panmure Gordon yesterday announced it has hired Ed Warner to its Board as a non-executive director from 1 December 2009. Warner, 46, is currently chairman of UK Athletics Limited, the sport’s national governing body, and Tradefair Holdings. He is also a non-executive director of Clarkson, Moneycorp Markets, The Eastern European Trust, Standard Life European Private Equity Trust and Cantos Communications .

Body in Balance
Former ITN chairman and chief executive Mark Wood has been appointed as chairman of Body in Balance TV, the first fully integrated Pan European television network and web based brand specialising in health, fitness and wellbeing programming. Wood acted as chairman and chief executive of ITN from 2002-2009.

Natixis Global Associates
Natixis Global Associates yesterday announced the appointment of Terry Mellish to the newly-created role of head of UK institutional business and both global and UK consultant relationships. NGA is the distribution arm of the French multi-boutique asset management organisation Natixis Global Asset Management (NGAM).

Mellish will be tasked with significantly increasing NGAM’s presence in the institutional marketplace in the UK. Mellish aims to bolster the UK institutional team with the recruitment of a number of senior hires for 2010. Mellish will be responsible for centralising the group’s global consultants.
