The money management company has appointed Michael J. Holmberg, an experienced distressed credit portfolio specialist, to its integrated leveraged asset management platform, in order to extend its product offering to include distressed credit securities.

Holmberg previously founded Chicago-based Newberry Capital Management, which focuses on managing distressed credit-related assets for institutional clients.

He joins along with a team of four other investment professionals from Newberry Capital.
