CITY MOVES WHO’S SWITCHING JOBS

Augusta & Co
The independent merchant banking group has appointed Rachael Luxton to strengthen its debt advisory and restructuring capabilities.

Luxton joins as a director from the international corporate finance team at Citigroup. She is a specialist in restructuring and managing distressed debt situations, having previously advised firms including MyTravel, Fiat, Yukos and Alstom.

Mercer
Jerry Neudegg has joined the consulting firm as a principal and head of operational accounting in its outsourcing business.

He joins from State Street, where he was head of pension fund accounting and, more recently, a custody and accounting product specialist.

He has also previously been director of fund accounting at Schroders Investment Management and head of fund accounting at JP Morgan Asset Manager Solutions and Old Mutual.

Inchcape
The car retailer has appointed Alison Cooper and Nigel Northridge as non-executive directors, effective from the beginning of July.

Cooper is currently a board member and chief operating officer at Imperial Tobacco, where she has worked for the past ten years. Prior to that, she spent 11 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Northridge is currently chairman of betting company Paddy Power, a senior independent director of Aggreko and a non-executive director at Thomas Cook. He was formerly chief executive of Gallaher Group.

Reech CBRE
The alternative investment joint venture, owned by CB Richard Ellis and Reech AiM, has hired Martin Allen as a real estate analyst.

Allen joins from Morgan Stanley, where he led the real estate equity analysis team.

Randall and Quilter
The Aim-listed run-off management service provider has appointed Paul Corver, a director of its wholly-owned subsidiary KMS, as managing director of its captive management services division.

The appointment comes as a result of the firm’s recent acquisition of Woolworths Insurance Guernsey, the Woolworths Group’s captive insurance division, from administrator Deloitte.

Practicus
The interim management firm has appointed Claudia Palma as general manager and Nick Broughton as senior consultant in its City office.

Palma recently moved to London from Australia and specialises in recruitment for the investment banking and hedge funds sector.

Broughton is also a financial services sector specialist.
