Internos Real Investors
The European property investment firm has appointed Richard Peskin, the former veteran chairman of Great Portland Estates for 23 years, as its new chairman.

“Peskin’s wealth of experience has been invaluable in the short time that he has been with us and we look forward to working with him to expand our business,” said Internos co-founder Jos Short. “I believe the market is rife with opportunity.”

Baker & McKenzie
Mark Carter is to join the law firm’s London office as chief financial officer, reporting to managing partner Gary Senior.

Carter is currently chief financial officer at rival Allen & Overy, a position he has held since 2004. He has also previously worked for National Grid, Booker Plc and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The exchange traded fund provider has hired Julian Hince as business development officer for the IFA sector.

Hince has over 17 years of experience in the asset management industry, having previously been a client relationship director at Invesco Perpetual and most recently head of strategic partners at Gartmore, with responsibility for the firm’s IFA and third party channels.

3i Infotech Framework
The private equity software solutions firm has appointed Sanjay Tolani as business development director, Graham Fisher as operations director and Ian McKillop as a pre-sales consultant.

Tolani will focus on developing the company’s growth strategy outside its core Western European market, while Fisher’s responsibilities will include establishing an offshore development centre to supplement the UK-based team. McKillop previously worked at Cognos, Cartesis and SunSystems.

Hitachi Capital
The consumer finance firm has appointed Richard Thompson as strategic relationship manager.

Thompson has previously worked for firms including Powerhouse Retail and HFC Bank, where he was responsible for managing the Dixons Store Group. In his new role, he is tasked with managing relationships with the HomeForm Group, whose brands include Moben, Kitchens Direct, Dolphin and Sharps.
