City Moves for 7 September 2018 – who’s switching jobs at Fenchurch Advisory Partners, Wyelands Bank and CVC Credit Partners?

Fenchurch

Fenchurch Advisory Partners has appointed William Nourse as a senior managing director. William has more than 20 years of experience of corporate finance in the financial services sector. He joins from Credit Suisse, where he was a managing director in the financial institutions group. Before that he was a managing director at Deutsche Bank in London and in Hong Kong. His recent track record includes advising Zurich Insurance Group on the purchase of ANZ’s Australian life insurance business, Swiss Re on its £1.6bn acquisition of Guardian Financial Services and FirstRand on the £1.1bn acquisition of UK challenger bank Aldermore.

Wyelands Bank

Wyelands Bank, set up to help small and medium businesses, has appointed Jim Higginbotham as managing director, asset finance. Jim will focus on developing Wyelands Bank’s asset finance offering to provide firms with greater access to the most appropriate funding. Jim has spent 27 years in the finance industry. His career has covered commercial banking, investment banking, wealth management, asset and invoice finance. Jim is able to draw upon this broad experience to help customers obtain the most appropriate finance for their business. Before joining Wyelands Bank, Jim was previously at Lombard, initially as head of risk, and then as managing director of corporate specialist sales. Before that he was head of risk at GE Commercial Finance. He was most recently managing director and co-owner at Specialist Asset Finance.

CVC Credit Partners

CVC Credit Partners has announced that Natalia Nowak has joined the firm as a managing director in the European private debt team, focusing primarily on opportunities in the DACH region and other European investments. Natalia will report to Neale Broadhead, managing director and portfolio manager. Natalia joined CVC Credit Partners from ESO Capital, where she was a managing director in the private debt & special situations fund. She focused on sourcing, structuring and executing bespoke financings for European SMEs. Prior to joining ESO Capital, Natalia worked at Arrowgrass and Cerberus Capital, where she worked on deals in private equity, special situations and distressed debt. Natalia began her career at Goldman Sachs in the German M&A Corporate Finance Group and is a graduate of the European Business School and Harvard Business School where she received her MBA. Her wealth of experience, particularly in the DACH region, will be invaluable to CVC Credit Partners.
