Lee Baron

Lee Baron, a specialist in property management, has promoted Mark Fitzgerald to head of property management. Having joined the firm in 2015 as a director in the property management department, Mark takes the reins from Ian Jones, who after 10 years in the role, will now be concentrating on his position as chief operating officer. Mark has 15 years’ experience in the commercial property industry having previously worked at CBRE and NB Real Estate, where he managed portfolios for LIM, M&G, Aviva, and Chelsfield. In his new role, Mark will be responsible for the account management for all clients and properties across the UK, leading a team of approximately 80 between Lee Baron's London and Manchester offices.

Houlihan Lokey

Houlihan Lokey, the global investment bank, has appointed Anthony Forshaw as a managing director in the capital markets group. He is based in London. Anthony joins Houlihan Lokey following a 25-year career at Deutsche Bank, where he held a number of roles, most recently serving as a managing director in the corporate finance group. He was responsible for a broad range of capital markets activities including the origination, structuring, and execution of large-cap, sub-investment grade financings, crossover/IPO loan-related financings, and related interest rate, currency, and cross-border risk structuring. Over the course of his career, he has helped lead some of the largest-ever LBOs executed in the EMEA region as well as some of the largest infrastructure transactions arranged in Europe.

Addleshaw Goddard

Addleshaw Goddard has recruited four new partners. William Boss, Luke Harvey, Michael Scott and Simon Tager are joining from KWM to support Addleshaw Goddard’s focus on the real estate sector. Each of William, Luke, Michael and Simon are well known in the City for their work across a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions and large scale development projects. In combination they have extensive experience in residential, business and retail development, including site acquisition, high-end development finance, speculative and pre-let development, and in establishing management structures. Acting for quoted property companies, institutional investors, developers, lenders and occupiers, particularly in the retail sector, they have handled the acquisitions and disposals of a wide range of very significant investment properties and advice on real estate joint ventures. Clients include Marks & Spencer, The Crown Estate, British Land and Battersea Power Station.
