DWF

DWF has appointed regulatory specialist Richard Burger as a partner in its regulatory, compliance and investigations team in London. Richard joins from corporate and insurance firm Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC). Richard has 20 years’ experience in UK and international regulatory enforcement, criminal and internal corporate investigations.

A former regulatory enforcement lawyer with the FSA – the predecessor to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Richard represents clients in investigations by the FCA, Serious Fraud Office (SFO), Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Financial Reporting Council (FRC), National Crime Agency (NCA), Insolvency Service, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and the US Department of Justice. Richard also regularly advises boards and senior managers on corporate governance, anti-financial crime, conduct and compliance. At DWF, Richard will align with the business’s sector approach and advise its financial services clients as well as strengthening its contentious regulatory offering.

Legal & General

Legal & General Investment Management has appointed Annacarla Dellepiane as head of exchange-traded fund (ETF) capital markets. Annacarla will be responsible for managing the implementation and execution of trades across LGIM’s ETF range on behalf of clients, partnering with market markets, broker-dealers, trading venues and data providers.

Annacarla joins from State Street Global Advisors, where she was a lead relationship manager in the SPDR Capital Markets team. Prior to joining in 2016, Annacarla worked in iShares EMEA capital markets division. In this newly-created role, Annacarla will be based in London.

Relendex

Relendex, the Peer-to-Peer lending exchange dedicated entirely to financing UK property, announced has hired three new team members to help reach its lending target of £100m in 2019. George Petrou takes the position of Underwriting Manager, while Rick Davey and Danny McMurdo fill the Business Development Manager (BDM) positions and will be based in the North West and South West: George will allow Relendex’s business developers to give potential borrowers the speedy preliminary decisions they need. Rick joins Relendex from Together Money & Santander.

He will be responsible for growing the Relendex borrower community in the Greater Manchester area and beyond. Danny is already familiar with the P2P industry, having joined Relendex from Folk 2 Folk. Prior to this Danny worked with several building societies. Danny has extensive knowledge of the south west and Bristol areas.
