Today's City moves cover real estate investment, money markets, property and asset management. Take a look at these movers and shakers:

Atrato Capital

Atrato Capital, the UK real estate investment manager, has strengthened its team with the appointment of two property specialists from Lloyds Banking Group. Lara Townsend (pictured) has been appointed as managing director, new business origination, and Sandeep Patel as director, finance and compliance. Lara was previously at Lloyds Banking Group for 18 years, latterly a director in the corporate solutions team, where she worked with two of Atrato’s founders, Ben Green and Steven Noble. Sandeep is a fellow of the Association of Certified Charted Accountants. He trained at Ernst & Young, following which he spent 10 years at Lloyds Banking Group.

Investec Corporate Treasury

Investec Corporate Treasury has appointed Matt Benton as a dealer for its money markets team. The hire forms part of the bank’s commitment to further develop its client cash management and liquidity offering, with a consistent focus on providing tailored products designed to suit clients’ individual needs. Matt has over 20 years’ experience in corporate treasury and joins as a money markets dealer for corporate and institutional clients. He was most recently at King & Shaxson, where he was responsible for maintaining relationships with a range of local authority and institutional clients across a spectrum of money market instruments. Prior to this, he held roles with Link Asset Services, BGC Partners and The Co-operative Bank.

Amundi

Amundi has appointed David Harte as CEO Amundi Ireland. He is also deputy head of the operations, services and technology division, reporting to Guillaume Lesage and is a member of Amundi’s executive committee. David is based in Dublin and was formerly global COO of Pioneer Investments, Ireland. He has been working in the investments industry since 1989 and was with Pioneer since 2003. Prior to Pioneer, David was COO at Bear Stearns Bank, Dublin. He has also worked at a number of financial institutions in London.

Colliers International

Colliers International has strengthened its residential team with the appointment of Christopher Clare, who has joined as an associate director, to lead its West London New Homes region. Christopher joins from Foxtons, where he has worked for the last four years and most recently headed up the company’s East London New Homes Team. At Colliers, he will hit the ground running with five new residential projects launching in September within west London.
