She joins from the Leeds office of Pinsent Masons, having joined that firm in 2006. Michelle has experience of working on a number of complex, high-profile transactions with a particular emphasis on development work and has particular expertise in the higher education sector.

In the new role, Serge will report directly to Jon Lewis, chief executive of Capita, and focus on developing Capita’s technology offering. Serge will work closely with functional and divisional leaders across the business to implement Capita’s digital strategy.

Serge joins Capita from Aviva where he was the Digital Innovation Director, responsible for identifying emerging technology trends and business models. He also led the development of new digital services across the group’s markets in Europe, Asia and North America. Serge was also the chief executive of Q App, a mobile payments business, which he co-founded in 2013 and led to a successful exit three years later.

Before that, he worked in a variety of senior consulting, corporate and start-up roles, including as Managing Director at Archant Digital Ventures and as the head of group strategy at Perform, which he helped develop into one of the fastest-growing sports media businesses globally.

Wilko

Wilko is pleased to announce that Andrew Moore will be joining its senior management team as chief commercial officer and executive board director. Andrew was most recently senior vice president and chief merchandising officer at Asda in charge of a multi-billion-pound portfolio of merchandise across all Asda trading divisions. Prior to that, he was executive managing director for George where he was instrumental in developing the clothing label into a global brand.
