City Moves for 23 November 2015 | Who’s switching jobs

TISA

The financial services membership organisation has appointed  Kenn Taylor  to its retirement policy and technical team. He has 30 years’ industry experience, most recently leading consulting teams with Troika, Navigant and Grant Thornton.

THERIUM CAPITAL

The third party litigation funder has appointed Timothy Mayer and Nicholas Moore as principals in its investment team. They both join from Woodsfood Litigation Funding where they were investment officers. Mayer has six years’ experience in the funding market, and has also previously worked as an in-house barrister at Allianz Litigation Funding. Moore was a dispute resolution lawyer for seven years until 2014 at CMS Cameron McKenna.

INTERNATIONAL GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY

Simon Pollack has been appointed as actuary in the insurance group’s London business. He has over 20 years’ experience, and started his career in 1993 with Bacon & Woodrow. Pollack has also held roles at AXIS Capital, Zurich Insurance, and HSBC.

STATE STREET

The financial services firm has announced two appointments in its technology leadership team. Chris Perretta, previously chief information officer, has been promoted to global head of enterprise data and technology. Antoine Shagoury has been appointed executive vice president and global chief information officer. He joins from the London Stock Exchange Group, where he was group chief information and group chief operating officer. 

NEWCORE CAPITAL MANAGEMENT

The alternative real estate investment manager has appointed Rupal Bhindi as property accountant. She was formerly company accountant for eight years with IHS Global,  where she was responsible for the finance function and management reporting for its subsidiary Screen Digest. Bhindi has also held roles at Silver Levene.

BMO GLOBAL ASSET MANAGEMENT

The investment management firm has appointed Max Peacock as LDI portfolio manager and Arthur Stroij as LDI solution structurer. Peacock joins from the LDI portfolio construction team at Legal and General Investment Management. Stroij was previously an investment consultant in the structured solutions team at Towers Watson.
