City Moves for 19 October – who’s switching jobs at SYZYGY, Equity Development and Relendex?

Here’s who’s moving jobs today at SYZYGY, Equity Development and Relendex.

SYZYGY

Digital agency group SYZYGY (WPP) today announces the appointment of Ita Murphy as UK chief executive to drive growth of its UK business operations. Ita will report directly to group chief executive Lars Lehne. The new Management Board of SYZYGY UK also includes current UK managing directors Mark Ellis and Phil Stelter – also chief media officer of SYZYGY Group. Ita has over 25 years of experience in the communication industry. She was managing director at Mindshare from 2000 until 2012, overseeing significant growth at the agency, running new business operations and leading a wholesale digital transformation programme. Ita has also held brand-side roles, having been client strategy director at News UK, and prior to joining SYZYGY she was media head Lloyds Banking Group, where she managed its £80m+ media spend.

Equity Development

Equity Development, the paid for corporate research provider, announces that Chris Munden has joined their team as an investor relations consultant, to help drive engagement between its corporate clients and the private client investment management community. With over 30 years of international capital markets experience, Chris has been an investor relations specialist since 1998, advising a broad range of companies from small cap AIM to FTSE100 on targeting and communicating with private client investment managers, private client brokers and regional pension funds across the UK.

Relendex

Relendex, the peer-to-peer lender specialising in the UK property market, has announced the appointment of Paul Sonabend as commercial director. Paul qualified as a chartered accountant at BDO in 1982, having studied economics at the LSE. Paul is a serial entrepreneur, having established his own businesses and invested as a business angel in many others.
