City Moves for 12 September 2018 – who’s switching jobs at WH Ireland, LGB Corporate Finance and Global Processing Services?

Today's City Moves covers compliance, finance and payment services. Take a look at these movers and shakers:

WH Ireland

WH Ireland has appointed the highly experienced Susan Brooksbank, as the group’s head of compliance and risk. This appointment comes at a crucial time, as regulatory demands on firms continue to increase and WH Ireland looks to build on its current position with accelerated growth. Susan, a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, joins the WH Ireland senior management team from Jupiter Asset Management Limited where she worked for almost 14 years and most recently, was head of asset management compliance. She brings with her over 20 years’ experience of leading compliance teams within the financial services industry. Prior to joining WH Ireland, Susan held senior compliance positions at well-known firms including; F&C Management Limited, Schroders and Coutts & Co Private Bank. In her new role, Susan will oversee the compliance teams within the corporate and institutional broking and wealth management divisions and, subject to FCA approval, will be CF10, CF11 and CF10a for WH Ireland.

LGB Corporate Finance

LGB Corporate Finance is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Hay as chairman. A senior corporate financier with significant experience and extensive connections, Andrew has joined the team in response to growing demand for its M&A advisory and debt and equity financing services. His appointment will enable LGB Corporate Finance to increase the depth and breadth of service to its clients. Andrew has worked in senior corporate finance roles at Schroders, ING Barings and latterly Edmond de Rothschild in London, where he led the corporate finance team for over 10 years.

Global Processing Services

Global Processing Services (GPS) has made two strategic appointments to further support its next phase of growth and expansion plans. John Chaplin has been appointed as chairman. He has a history of senior roles at Visa and First Data and is currently an active participant in private equity investment in payments as well as being the organiser of the Global Payments Innovation Jury which provides unique insights into how the payments market is changing. The company will also be strengthening its leadership team with Keith Butcher, joining as chief financial officer. A highly experienced CFO, Keith strengthens the GPS leadership team with 17 years of delivering business growth, Keith was previously CFO at Paysafe for five years during its period of rapid growth and before that was CFO of online payments company DataCash for six years where the company grew substantially before being acquired by Mastercard.
