Linklaters

The law firm has announced the appointment of Michael Kent  as divisional practice head of finance and projects for a four-year term. He has been a partner at Linklaters since 1999, and currently heads its global financial regulation group.

Baring Asset Management

Rod Aldridge has been appointed head of wholesale distribution for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at the investment management firm. He has worked at Barings since 2008, and was most recently head of UK wholesale distribution. Aldridge has previously held senior roles at Gartmore Investment Management and Cofunds.

Colliers International

The real estate company has promoted Davoud Amel-Azizpour to EMEA finance and corporate development director. He joined Colliers as EMEA financial controller from DTZ in 2013, and has also held roles at Reed Elsevier and KPMG. In addition, Sonia Roll has been appointed marketing and communications manager for EMEA. She joins from Colliers in San Francisco, where she was director of marketing for the Western region of the US.

Coutts Private Office

Alison Bishop has been appointed senior wealth manager, executive director in the private bank’s private office. She previously worked at Credit Suisse Private Bank as a desk head within its ultra high net worth business. Bishop has also held roles at JP Morgan Private Bank and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.

DLA Piper

The law firm has appointed Denise R Hamer as a lawyer in its finance and projects group. She was previously a partner at Richards, Kibbe & Orbe in London, and before that at Schoenherr in Vienna. Hamer has also held positions at Citigroup, Societe Generale, and Arthur Andersen, among others.

RateSetter

The peer-to-peer lender has appointed Simon Pearse as head of compliance. He previously led the development of the regulatory risk framework for OneSavings Bank, and has also served as a senior manager at the FCA/FSA.

Puma Investments

The tax-efficient investment provider has appointed Daniela Jaume to its business development team. She joins from Ingenious Investments, where she was a specialist investment manager in its client relationship team.
